LessCo2 was developed to promote the greening of our Adelaide City Parklands.

There are several planting areas established or currently under construction.

1. extension of Angus Street into the parklands.

    This planting is on the southern side near the walking track, it has existed for a number of years.

2. The tank stand at the corner of South and East terraces was built in 1860? with a tank to supply water to Adelaide.  It has not been used for many years and only the stand remains.

The tank stand is about 50? m in diameter and about 2m high and was built from rock and earth.

Some trees have been planted around and on the stand but now we have begun to plant more trees and understory around the stand.
